Hawksnest unpicks and explores the brittle relationship between fragility and brutality, tenderness and violence amongst adult men living in inner city Dublin.

The film was projected onto the facade of the Gate Theatre during the Dublin Theatre Festival. The work was a culmination and filmic response to Anu Theatre’s year-long residency at the Gate, and the companies on-going participatory and socially engaged process in the Dublin 1 area.
