O’Casey in the Estate

 ‘O’Casey in the Estate’ follows a group of striving actors as they bring Sean O’Casey’s classic play ‘The Plough and Stars’ home to Dublin’s East Wall.

Narrated by Liam Cunningham and featuring performance advice from Niamh Cusack, Peter Coonan and Roddy Doyle, the cast is guided through rehearsals by director Catriona McLaughlin.

Plans for a performance of the play in the Abbey Theatre are thrown up in the air with the onset of the Coronavirus in March 2020.
